July 22: Brandon Michael Wood, of Auburn, Maine, has graduated from MEMA Technical Education Center’s Oil Technician Training class. He will now be eligible to apply for and take the Journeyman exam.
During the six-week program, Brandon completed a variety of training, which included classroom study and 75 hours of hands-on training in the lab. Emphasis is placed on Workforce Development as well as Oil Heat Technician Training.
Wood, the son of Emily Wood and Jeremy Strout, is a graduate of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone, Maine. He has been a resident of Auburn for over ten years.
Brandon enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing video games. He plans on building his HVAC-R career and furthering his education in the field.
