Bryan Champagne:
MTEC Senior Instructor – Oil, Propane, AC-R, Plumbing

A master-level technician, Bryan was part of the very first propane CETP certification program in Maine and boasts over 30 years of first-hand industry experience, bringing with him an extensive knowledge of HVAC-R theory and best practices. Having held various positions in the industry—from technician and sales, to field supervisor and operations manager, Bryan is able to offer a very comprehensive overview of the possible career opportunities available within the HVAC-R field.

Dan Weber:
MTEC Instructor – Oil, Propane, AC-R, Plumbing

Dan has been in the industry for over 30 years. He has worked in the residential, commercial and industrial areas of the Trade.  He became a foreman while employed by Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 112. He assisted in developing and teaching one of the first Building Automation Systems courses. Dan now resides in Portland, Maine and has a Master Oil Burners License, is licensed in Maine and New Hampshire for Gas and has been EPA certified since 1994.

Roger Mitchell:
Oil, Propane, AC-R

Roger started his heating career in the U.S. Air Force by obtaining his Maine Oil Burner license during his enlistment. A seasoned veteran of the HVAC-R industry for over 30 years, Roger was instrumental in creating the training program at MTEC. Serving as Dean of Technical Education for 10 years, Roger has written curricula and developed hands-on training methods for all of MTEC’s programs. Owner of his own company, Roger designs, sells, and installs heating and cooling equipment with an emphasis on energy conservation.

Roger enjoys working with renewable energy heating equipment and is a System 2000 authorized dealer.
