July 22: Joshua Bland, of Berwick, Maine, has graduated from MEMA Technical Education Center’s Oil Technician Training class. He will now be eligible to apply for and take the Journeyman exam.
During the six-week program, Joshua completed a variety of training, which included classroom study and 75 hours of hands-on training in the lab. Emphasis is placed on Workforce Development as well as Oil Heat Technician Training.
Bland, a graduate of Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine, has been a resident of Berwick for three years.
Joshua enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and hitting the slopes on his snowboard. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business. He currently works in the oil and propane field with P. Gagnon & Son, Inc. in South Berwick.
