July 22: Nathan Austin James, of Alexander, Maine, has graduated from MEMA Technical Education Center’s Oil Technician Training class. He will now be eligible to apply for and take the Journeyman exam.

During the six-week program, Nathan completed a variety of training, which included classroom study and 75 hours of hands-on training in the lab. Emphasis is placed on Workforce Development as well as Oil Heat Technician Training.

James, the son of Dawn James, is a graduate of Woodland Jr./Sr. High School in Baileyville, Maine. He has resided in Alexander for four years. Nathan enjoys spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Nathan is currently employed at V.L. Tammaro in Baileyville. He is also planning to further his education by working on obtaining his Masters.
