July 22: Wade Nickerson, of Phippsburg, Maine, has graduated from MEMA Technical Education Center’s Oil Technician Training class. He will now be eligible to apply for and take the Journeyman exam.
During the six-week program, Wade completed a variety of training, which included classroom study and 75 hours of hands-on training in the lab. Emphasis is placed on Workforce Development as well as Oil Heat Technician Training.
Nickerson, the son of Mark and Jolene Nickerson, is a graduate of Chop Point School in Woolwich, Maine. He has resided in Phippsburg for 20 years.
Wade enjoys spending his free time outdoors hunting and fishing on the water. He is now looking forward to starting his career in the HVAC-R field.
